Khechara serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Fort Worth Independent School District, which is currently engaged in a series of initiatives that will redesign, transform, and revitalize the school district. Khechara has spent the last 16 years in diverse urban public school systems and has worked in curriculum and instruction for the last seven years. Her work in Fort Worth ISD began one year ago and the District has designed and is launching a PK-12 Learning Model and are initiating large scale curriculum redesign. Her goal is to create engaged, individualized, next generation, collaborative learning environments.
