Leading Change in the Community from an ISD Perspective
As companions within the FWISD Department of Equity and Excellence, the Eastside Alliance Community Partnership, Historic Stop Six Initiative and Adult Education use a collective impact model specifically serving the historically underperforming schools in communities in the east and southeast sections of Fort Worth.  This collaborative model engages organizations from different sectors using a common agenda to strive for solutions to specific social and generational challenges impacting students’ ability to learn and succeed. By aligning those efforts with agreed-upon measures of success, these groups constantly strive toward the shared goal of supporting the success of all Fort Worth ISD students and to ensure all students are prepared for college, career, and community leadership.
