Melondy Doddy serves as the interim Director for the McNair Scholars program at Texas Christian University (TCU).

After working with a large national corporation, Melondy pursed her passion for learning into a career in higher education. Since, Mrs. Doddy has worked in higher education for programs that emphasize college access with P-16 initiatives. She has continuously served in positions that aim to increase the number of low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education.

Mrs. Doddy holds a B.S. with major in Comparative Religious studies, a Master of Education with emphasis in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from TCU.
